Patriot's Day

Some people may say that preschoolers are too young to learn about the horrible things that happened to our nation 12 years ago.  I agree, they are too young.  Instead, we discussed our flag, our country, and the community helpers that make our United States a wonderful place to live.

We made flags today and practiced reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Drawing straight lines and cutting are still challenging to some. But that's why we are here at school...right?

We learned that there are short and long stripes on the flag.

........and stars!

Take a look at these young Patriots!

I want to send a "Thank You" and "God Bless You" out to all of our community helpers out there that go to work every day to make our nation a great place!
 Proud to be an American!!
